When we return we are still not sure of the next step, but will inform you as soon as we know. To answer a question. If the heart becomes available at Mayo first, they will fly us here immediately for the transplant.
We have been so blessed and are still quite overwhelmed by the love we have felt from so many.
Thank you!

We really enjoyed getting to know you. Have a safe flight home. You will be in our prayers.
I finally found you on the web! I am so happy to read your writings. It is generous of you both to let us in on your lives right now. We think about you often. We kinda believe if you could just hear Lilly's laugh you might be cured. We wish it were that simple!
Our love to all of you.

Hi Kevin and Barbie,
Such great news! Wendy and I have thought about you guys a lot in the past several weeks since we found out about the AL. I sincerely hope that you will continue to improve, Kevin. You are an inspiring teacher, even in this very difficult time.
And Barbie, it sounds like you are the rock that Kevin needs, as you always have been. Be sure to take care of yourself, as caregiving is one of the most difficult things we do.
Our prayers are with you both. We miss you and hope for the very best for you.
Alan
I hope you don't mind me commenting on your blog. Felisha has been sharing some of your story with me and gave me the blog address. I'm so inspired by your courage and faith. Having been so close to Felisha and Kathie makes me feel like their whole family is my own.Plus, I have a special place in my heart for Kevin, having been so nice to take a look at my son at T.J's baptism. I'm so happy to hear your good news and will continue to keep you in my prayers.
