Happy Father's Day

I know, I know.  It has been a long time since I've written and I'm sure you were hoping for another chapter today.  Kevin will probably post it later.  He's weak again.  The weakest I've seen him since 'recovering' from the bone marrow transplant.  He has symptoms of a bad virus that strips him of fluids and causes him to run out of energy quickly.  Each day since Friday he has gotten weaker and weaker and sleeps more during the day.  It's hard now to know what to do.   The docs have tried so many variations on his drugs I'm not sure what is left to try.  He's suppose to go back to work on Tuesday so whatever is making him feel this awful needs to resolve by then.
I will be done with my summer Sociology class this Thursday.  It will be a relief to have one more class complete.  I remain optimistic about Kevin's health.  I have come to a greater understanding that the things you have no control over, you must accept with grace and strength.  It is what it is.
Happy Father's Day to all you dads.

May the Lord bless Kevin, protect him from all harm and give him strength.
I picture Pac-man chomping on virus cells until they are all gone & flushed away.
Blessings & strength to you, Barbie.
love, Aunt Renie
