A week away

Boy, did we need a vacation. Barbie's final month in her 1st term was more taxing than the date of my last blog. Caitlin and I drove to Utah and the next day Barbie flew there after her final final. Three out of four, (and Alexandria) are now college graduates. (Four out of four are high school graduates.) We packed Friday, May 22nd with celebrations of Samuel's graduation from BYU and then left at 4:00 A.M. on Caitlin's 18th birthday to drive through a Utah snow storm and Mojave wind storm to arrive in beautiful Newport Coast. We all then relaxed, (except Jason who still had finals) and did mostly nothing for a week. It was paradise. I think we all felt rejuvenated.

P.P.S Alexandria placed second in her half marathon last week.

I am thrilled with your children's academic achievements. And what a delight to receive Daniel's announcement of his doctorate! Emulation is the sincerest form of flattery. May you all live long and prosper!
